Labor Day Used To Be,...

Hey does anybody else out there remember when kids roamed free from right after Memorial Day to Labor Day?  Well, it seems funny to admit I miss the kids banging around, riding bikes, skateboarding thru town during the days.  But I do!

Buyers have been traipsing the streets of Summit County, hopping in and out of cars, scrambling up stiars, opening doors and looking around,...a lot!  Since December, buyers have found this to be an ideal time to benefit from extra effort and willingness to take a step in today's uncertain marketplace.  A number of brokers I respect gathered the other day at an open house and we discussed why we felt this to be the case, after months of buyer's acting as if they were frozen in pl...


I Wasn't Even Close!

Ok, for those who do follow things up here, please note my ideas from yesterday.  I thought 40 something withdrawals was a pretty significant number.  What we found today was that there were yet another 100, plus properties withdrawn overnight.  If that doesn't feel like clearing the decks, what does?  So if you're wanting to enter the market, chances are better than ever that you'll find a real, committed seller!  Good luck out there!

OK, we've seen the 2009 rollercoaster do its thing.  We've seen economic indices tell us all kinds of things.  For a broker, it means we do nothing if we cannot get buyers and sellers together in the midst of all this chaos.  Buyers are examining markets, searching thru advertising media, digital and print, like panning for gold.  In hopes that golden nugget s will appear, buyers are taking the time to see a lot of property.  A bunch of sellers, on the other hand, ...
